Shipping & Returns

All orders will usually be shipped within 5 days of orders/payments being received. In the event that an item is out of stock when we receive your order, we will contact you. If you don't mind waiting, your out of stock item will be placed on back order. (Note: We will try to give you an estimated time of arrival.) If you do not want the item to be back ordered, we will adjust your invoice/payment required and credit your account accordingly.

All parcels are sent by Australia Post and International orders are sent by Air unless otherwise requested and arranged. If desired parcels can be sent by Registered Post with insurance or Express Post. Just make this request in the comments section of your order form and we will contact you to advise of additional cost involved before despatch.

I'm sure that you will understand that Quilters Cabin cannot be responsible for parcels lost, damaged or delayed in the post. Ensure that your residential or shipping address is correct on your account details and order form. Once we lodge parcels with Australia Post, it is Australia Post who is responsible for the delivery to the addressee. (Thank goodness parcels and mail rarely go missing or astray. In our experience of more than 10 years of shipping mail orders, this is an infrequent event. Please be assured that we are responsible merchants and take every care with the processing of your order.) Insurance is available if you have any concerns. Please note that Australia Post does have some provision for missing parcels that are not insured. Contact your local post office for further information about lost or missing parcels.

If you wish to send your order as a gift, please advise us of the receivers mailing address in the comments section on your order form. If you would like a special gift card to be included free of charge, please advise us of the details. In the interests of protecting against credit card fraud, this option in only available within Australia. We also reserve the right to verify all details before despatch when orders are paid for by credit card or sent to a third party.

As most Quilters are aware there is a no returns policy on all patterns, books, cut fabrics, Block of the Month Programmes and kits, so please choose carefully. If you would like further information about any of our products featured before purchasing, simply contact us. In the event that the item is faulty we will happily replace the returned item.
